Arisse Tauv (she/they) is a multi-faceted event producer and curator of TeoChew decent, based on Gadigal Land, Eora Nation. Drawing upon street dance’s core values of collaboration, adaptability, and authenticity, she infuses these principles into every facet of her work across all disciplines.
Arisse serves as the President and Director of the non-profit organization Destructive Steps Dance Association, collaborating with councils and various partners to produce innovative events and programs for youth and young adults. Through workshops, mentorship opportunities, and community-driven projects, she helps cultivate a supportive environment that empowers emerging talents to thrive and grow within the street dance community.
In addition to her leadership role within the association, Arisse is also the Festival Director of Destructive Steps—Australia’s largest street dance festival. Now in its 15th year, this landmark event has become a key platform to elevate street dance and spotlight artists across Sydney and beyond. Arisse’s passion for curation, community-building, and creative expression drives her to connect dancers, enthusiasts, and audiences worldwide, ensuring the continued vitality and recognition of street dance culture.
